We’re coming back in 2024 for three weeks, because the location speaks for itself. In September 2023 we spent two weeks at Villa Monica (No20), in a quiet, peaceful area about a five-minute walk from the beach. The bungalow had two comfortable bedrooms, one en suite, and a good lounge. The only disappointment was the TV, which had German and Spanish channels only. We did find some small cockroaches, mostly in the en suite and separate toilet, and dealt with them ourselves. There’s no air conditioning, and a portable electric fan would have been essential. The bungalow was often hot and stuffy, facing directly east and west. We used the front patio in the morning and the rear one for shade after midday. Reception staff were excellent and very helpful.

The gardens are so well cared for, and the ocean view was what surprised me most. The area is really peaceful, and my stay at bungalows playa famara was amazing. Nora and Amelia gave us such pleasant service. Thanks, and I hope to come back soon!

The host was great, and the setting is peaceful, right beside the sea with beautiful views. Getting here by public transport is difficult, though. If you stay here, I’d recommend renting a car to get to Famara center and back.

These bungalows are a lovely way to enjoy Famara’s landscape and the quiet cliffs, away from the Village of Famara. Check which bungalow you’ll be staying in, since some are better equipped and maintained than others.
