Radisson Blu Resort Lanzarote - Adults Only +16

The pool is beautiful, and breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. The hotel itself felt so luxurious and lovely that I didn't even want to leave the grounds. The one downside was slow service. The complimentary bottles of water in the room were small, and we waited more than 30 minutes for replacements.

There were plenty of sunbeds in January, so we didn't have to get up early to claim one. The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed, though it would have been nice to have drinking water replaced daily. A water fountain was nearby. Meals offered lots of choice, with a different cuisine theme every night, and the staff, especially the waiters, were consistently attentive, friendly, and helpful. It’s a relaxing hotel and good value for money, despite some snags. The heated pools were surprisingly cold, which was disappointing given how much they’re promoted. We also got incomplete directions to our room at check-in and had to go back to reception for help. There was an unpleasant smell from the bathroom.

The adults-only setup makes this an easy choice for us, and we'd happily recommend it to other adults. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with roomy patios furnished with two sunbeds, a table, and chairs, which most guests seemed to use during the day. The toilet area could offer more privacy, though the showers were good. Breakfast was superb, with an enormous range of options in a very large dining room. There are four pools, two heated, plenty of sunbeds, and lots of space around them. The hotel is in a great spot for Costa Teguise: it's a 15-20 minute walk along the seafront to the town centre, while excellent restaurants and cafés are only a few minutes away.

Akib from the bar deserves a special mention for his professionalism and kindness. My wife has trouble walking, and he went out of his way to help, checking regularly whether we needed anything. He spoke English very well, showed me around the resort, and greeted guests with a lovely warm smile. His service was excellent, and his friendly manner made us feel welcome. Everyone at the hotel was kind and helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The resort was spotless, from the room to the shared areas and pools, and the peaceful atmosphere and ocean views made the location ideal for Costa Teguise. Dining was fantastic too, with plenty of dishes made from fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. Our stay at the Radisson Blu Resort Lanzarote exceeded every expectation. We had a fantastic time, would gladly return, and highly recommend it. I hope to see you again on my next vacation.
