If you love hiking and want somewhere peaceful, this charming little house is ideally placed right in the middle of the island.

There are three outdoor seating spots, so you can pick sun or shade, and the mountain views are fantastic. You can walk into the small town center, and there are hiking routes right from the house. Inside, it feels a bit like a museum, with old radios and antiques everywhere. It’s cluttered, but in a fun way, and the place is still very clean.

You can park right outside, and the town center of Tejeda, with its many restaurants and shops, is an easy walk away. The house sleeps six and has everything you need, plus four terraces, two facing north and two south.

The views of Roque Nublo and Roque Bentayga are stunning, and the host was so friendly. The house was spotless. We had a wonderful stay!
