The owner is very friendly and always available, and the renovated country house has lovely views in a peaceful part of Gran Canaria. The building is charming, but a few things made our stay difficult. The kitchen and appliances are too basic for a longer visit. The laundry room is shabby, the washing machine barely works, and there are ants and other insects in there. The plumbing isn’t right and water stagnates. You have to be extremely careful about cleanliness to keep ants and other insects from getting into the house. There are also mice running around inside.

We ended up leaving because they wanted more than four people in the house and some friends were coming over for a party. It is a nice place for relaxing, but there were ants in the upstairs beds. The whole house smelled of insect repellent, which had also been sprayed on the blankets.

Set among vineyards and nature, this estate feels welcoming and spacious. The houses blend a modern design with the rustic country-house style, making it a lovely place to rest and unwind.
