La Carteria

The owner was so attentive and gave us lots of useful tips and recommendations. We rented this little house for the local trail race on Friday, June 28th, and came away with nothing but praise. It has thoughtful touches that give it character. We slept on the sofa bed, which was comfortable, and the house was very clean, with sheets and towels provided and a lovely smell throughout. The only small thing was the lack of toiletries like shower gel or a toothbrush. We’ll remember this stay fondly. Highly recommend.

Breakfast outside was my favorite part, with the cool morning air, river sounds, birdsong, and all the greenery around us in the Picos de Europa. My girlfriend and I booked "La Casina" for a few days, and the setting is incredible. It was spotless and had everything for cooking and relaxing. The owner welcomed us warmly and explained where to go nearby, including places to shop and eat.

We were seven people for five nights and everything worked out perfectly. The kitchen is spacious, the place was very clean, and the surroundings are lovely. The hosts were friendly.

The photos don’t show how nice this big, tastefully furnished house really is. We loved it, and Pili and her daughter were so lovely. There’s a balcony, and on the huge property by the river you can use inflatable mattresses, swings, foosball, a pool, ping-pong, and a barbecue. We’ll be back.
