Motel Venus Santiago

You get a spectacular room with a whirlpool tub and other surprises. The private rooms have direct drive-through access, so you won’t see anyone and nobody will see you. Ideal for couples, and a must-visit.

The service is very attentive, but I don’t feel the facilities are up to standard. I know the Pontevedra location and was used to it, so I noticed things that could be improved here even though it’s the same franchise.

The room and bathroom were very clean and nicely decorated, and they offered us nougat, grapes, and cava. But the service left us not wanting to return. We ordered fries at 2:00 AM, and they took almost an hour to arrive, by which time we were asleep. When we said we were leaving in the morning, they left us on the phone for around 15 minutes. We called back, and the girl was very rude, saying she was working on the bill and would let us in. The bill was dated the 31st even though we were checking out on the 1st, so it should already have been ready. We were still kept waiting. We could also hear the cleaning staff talking, the phone ringing, and cleaning noises in other rooms, which woke us up. No matter how nice the place is, bad service puts you off. First and last time.

The person who attended to me on the night shift today wasn’t at 100%.
