At 9:00 PM, after coming back from our trip, we found that our key wouldn't open the room. Reception told us the room had been given to someone else, even though all our personal things were still inside, and said we had to leave right away. I explained that we didn't want to move and planned to check out the next morning, but the receptionist stayed rude. My young son and I were left waiting helplessly for a long time. We eventually had to accept a room change, and they said they'd give us its key only after we'd unpacked our belongings. I was left in the hallway with my things, feeling stranded. The staff were rude and inconsiderate. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place.

The front desk attendant Sara brought a fan from the office to try to help us, and most of the staff were courteous and kind. But I still wouldn't recommend this hotel. At 2am, my wife and I were awake in unbearable heat, around 80° Fahrenheit, because the room's air conditioning wasn't working properly. Other guests were also complaining about their A/C. A technician came to patch up the problem, but staff said all available rooms had the same issue and the hotel was fully booked, so they couldn't move us. This is a hotel with lots of business clients and large groups, so it's hard for me to believe every room has A/C trouble. I imagine these are the rooms they offer on booking.com to keep the place full. Save your money and book somewhere else. Our vacation has been ruined, and after you've paid, your money is gone. We're in another country, and you just have to deal with the problems. Read the reviews and comments first. Don't let this happen to you.

It's a bit far from central Barcelona, though perfectly manageable if you've got a car. The room's sound insulation could be better. Otherwise, very good.

I've been here for four nights, and it's a quiet, comfortable place with staff who are friendly and can really brighten your day. Reception got me checked in in under three minutes, and the people there are kind and explain things whenever you ask. If you need help or don't understand something, go to reception or call *9. There are two of us and we're trying to keep costs down, so we've asked the bar staff to heat up our meals. The cleaning is good, though not perfect. Sometimes they forget to replace the shampoo or something, but you can just call 9* and ask.
