Villa Ca l'Andreu Tiana

We spent eight wonderful days at Ca l'Andreu, a spacious villa and farm just outside Barcelona, with a group of six family members and friends. Alba and her family made us feel so welcome. Alba greeted us when we arrived, and by the time we left we were hugging like friends. She replied quickly to messages and helped with everything from getting into Barcelona to finding places to eat in Tiana and shop. The house was a lovely place to return to after days out. We explored Barcelona, Montserrat monastery, Tiana, and a winery, then looked forward to relaxing there in the late afternoons. There’s room to find some quiet or gather together, and all four large, private bedrooms have their own bathrooms. We especially loved the bright corner room we called the Salon, with its big windows and comfy furniture, for morning coffee and planning the day. In the evenings we sat under the vine-covered pergola on the terrace, sipping wine and looking out over Tiana, the vineyards, and the Mediterranean in the distance. We also had three fantastic dinners at the villa: two catered by Chef Karlos and one prepared by Alba, whose vegan meal was the best ever. It was fun chatting with the chefs and their helpers while they cooked and served, and one evening came with music too. The kitchen has plenty of equipment and two refrigerators, and there’s a large laundry room with a washer and dryer. If I could, I’d give Ca l'Andreu, Alba, and her family ten stars. Thank you for such warm hospitality. We won’t forget it.

This peaceful old family home is surrounded by gardens and nature. Our hosts were friendly, attentive, and quick to respond. We also joined a wine tour and had a private dining experience, which made the vacation even better. Highly recommend.

We did some sightseeing, but honestly, the beautiful grounds and the house overlooking Tiena and the Mediterranean could keep you happily occupied the whole trip. The hosts were so friendly, and they helped make our dream vacation come true. Thank you. ❤️
