Casa La Orilla

Tias turned out to be a handy base for excursions, with many sights about a 20-minute drive away. The village has several places for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus a local supermarket where you can buy in bulk, a gas station, a first aid center, and a great teleclub. We'd booked the room at the last minute for a couple of nights, but liked it enough to stay longer. The old farmhouse has been converted into guest rooms and shared spaces. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there's free cereal, coffee, and bakery items to take whenever you like. Although the house is right by a road, we couldn't hear traffic from our room at the back. There's no construction opposite the entrance, so you can look out to the horizon and ocean. Our room was large, with tables, chairs, hangers, shelves, and a sofa for laying out our things. The bathroom was spacious and comfortable, hot water was always available, and towels and toiletries were provided. The bed was big, WiFi worked well in our room, and we could come and go whenever we wanted. There are several chaise longues for sunbathing and a barbecue if you fancy using it. It was a great stay, and we'd definitely recommend it.
