Casa Morro Blanco in Conil

The owner was so friendly and helpful. We had a lovely stay in this holiday house, with its ocean view and private pool. I’d definitely recommend it.

Rafael was a very friendly, attentive host and made sure we were comfortable. We stayed at Casa Morro Blanco with family for a few days, and the house was spacious and had all the amenities. Everything was spotless, from the rooms to the furnishings. We’d happily recommend it.

This is really a review of the owner, since we never got to stay. We booked through Booking.com and had to cancel. The owner agreed to cancel without charging us, but more than two and a half months later our money still hadn’t been returned. It’s almost impossible to reach him by phone. On the three occasions we did speak, he gave us a different explanation: he was waiting to hear from Booking.com, then thought the refund had already gone through and said he’d check with the bank, and later said he couldn’t remember the IBAN. Unless I contact him, he doesn’t update me. All of this has left us thinking he’ll return our money, but it’s shameful. Booking.com is washing its hands of the issue too.
