Casa Tinasoria

I booked through Airbnb. The views were great, but the pool and jacuzzi were dirty, and the inside of the house was ugly. I'd rather have stayed somewhere else.

We spent 12 days at Casa Tinasoria and found it really relaxing. From the hill, you get a unique view, and it's very quiet, yet Puerto del Carmen and all its amenities are close by. The location also makes it easy to explore the island. The house was spotless and had everything we needed, from a toaster to a jacuzzi and a heated pool, which let us swim even when the weather was unpredictable. Gonzalo was discreet and kind, always ready with good advice and answers to our questions or needs. If I return to Lanzarote, I know where I'll stay.

We were two young couples there in August and really enjoyed our stay at Casa Tinasoria. Gonzalo was friendly and attentive the whole time. The house was comfortable and nicely decorated, the views and location were incredible, and the heated pool was fantastic.

We've stayed in Roque del Este before and already know we'll be back. We felt very comfortable there again. Mr. Gonzalo is a friendly, helpful owner who gives you information about Lanzarote as soon as you arrive, from restaurants to excursions. The views from the veranda and pool area are breathtaking, even in the evening. You can see along the coast from Arrecife, Puerto del Carmen, and Puerto Calero towards Femes and Fuerteventura. At times you can also watch the huge cruise ships passing. There's a seating area on the veranda in front of the house, a lovely spot for breakfast or dinner. The house is spotless and cleaned weekly. It has a comfortable double bed, even for heavier people like us, plus a sofa, LCD TV with satellite, Wi-Fi, dining table, and a well equipped kitchen. There's a sink, induction cooktop, fridge with freezer compartment, small oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, and all the dishes, pots, and pans you need. The outdoor kitchen is shared with Roque del Oeste and has a large oven and built-in barbecue. The pool area is just as clean. The owner regularly cleans the pool himself, and it has a retractable cover. The loungers are solid wood, and there's a large jacuzzi we didn't use. You can park your rental car right on the property, which we recommend having. A large supermarket with a good fish selection is only a few minutes away by car; Puerto del Carmen's port is under 15 minutes away, and the airport, Teguise, and El Golfo are about 20 minutes away. This is an incredible little house, and we're happy to choose it again next time. The owner, Gonzalo, is very kind and helps with restaurant tips and everyday shopping advice. It's clean and cleaned every year. For a small house by the sea, it has everything you need to live in, and the home is comfortable even for heavier people like us. The kitchen is fully equipped and can be shared. There's no kitchen in the combined dining and sleeping room, but you can use the outdoor kitchen, with its oven and barbecue. The pool area and pool are clean, and the owner takes care of the property himself. The view downhill is outstanding. You can see from Arrecife to Puerto Calero, often including Fuerteventura, and watch the huge cruise ships passing. These are the best times to visit!
