The staff are really friendly, and the location is just a few minutes' walk from the old city. The bar does a simple breakfast for 3 euros. Our basic room was very clean, and the bathroom, with a shower but no bath, had recently been refurbished to a good standard. Wi-Fi is free in the room and ran at a good 17mbs, and there's local TV too. Just be aware there’s no lift and you'll need to manage a couple of flights of stairs. The car park is about a five-minute walk away, undercover, and costs 5 euros a day. For a two-star hostel, it’s excellent. I'd recommend it and stay again if I were in the area.

The stairs are pretty steep, which felt fitting since Toledo's old city sits on a steep hill. The hostel is quite close to the old city and the Tavera picture gallery. I stayed three nights in October 2018. It was my first hostel experience, and a good one. I’d been apprehensive because Toledo was full and reasonably priced hotels were hard to find, but the place was better than I expected. Small, cosy and very clean, with what you need for a short stay, and the people were extremely nice, friendly and helpful. I was 63 then and managed the stairs. Highly recommended, and I'd like to return.

It's a relaxing spot that's not too far from the city. There are a few bars right as you leave the hostel, perfect for sitting down with a beer on these crazy hot days. ✨

The location near the city centre is good, and the rooms are decent enough, but breakfast wasn't very good. Pay close attention to the check-in time: we lost a night because we arrived after 10pm, and the receptionist had told us by phone that we couldn't check in that late. 😣
