Hotel Real de Castilla

The noise made it hard to rest. During the day, staff were constantly cleaning rooms, moving furniture and rolling carts, and at night we could hear people talking and laughing in other rooms. The bathroom was poorly cleaned, especially the shower and tiles, and there was no hand soap. When we checked in, our room door was already open. It looked as if someone had been cleaning nearby, but we didn't see anyone, which felt uncomfortable. The hotel seemed old, poorly maintained and short on staff. Overall, the stay was disappointing because of the noise, cleanliness and maintenance issues, as well as insufficient staffing.

The owners were very helpful when we had a problem with our car, and the price was very reasonable. The hotel was comfortable and very clean. We really enjoyed the unusual shower, with nozzles around the surface that sent out strong jets, almost like a water massage. The area is quiet and near the river. The town is very pretty and easy to reach, just a few minutes' walk.

We've stayed here about five times and will definitely come back. The owners are very kind, and although our Spanish isn't very good, they speak French. We got a welcome drink, and the place is nice and clean, with a nice little swimming pool. It's very close to the center, with easy parking out front. The bar is good, and we ate at the restaurant once. It was okay.

We booked the EL POZO DEL A NIEVE HOTEL because they replied to our emails. I sent this hotel two messages with questions and requests for more details before booking a room. They sent read receipts saying the emails had been received, but never answered what I asked. The message saying they had received the email was all we got. So you don't have a reservation from me. The points I've made are facts. It's a shame to turn business away.
