The mountain walks are easy to reach from the campsite, and that’s a big plus. We rented a clean, quiet, very comfortable ensuite room. We hadn’t realised there was a shared kitchen for room users, or we’d have brought food and plates to make simple meals. The bar and restaurant are pretty basic, and the supermarket is even more basic and expensive. The campsite is along a very bumpy dirt road with quite a bit of traffic, which surprised us. With that drive, going into nearby Torla for meals often isn’t practical. I still think it’s a great option, and we’d have been better prepared if we’d brought some food and dishes.

All in all, a really special place. We stayed in a basic but clean and comfortable 'refugio' room. The setting is stunning, and the facilities were clean. The bar had food and drinks at very reasonable prices, and breakfast and packed lunches were available too. You can find maps and walking information in the shop, along with a few supplies.

The location is gorgeous, and the staff were very helpful. The services are great, and this is my favorite campsite by far. Our motorhome had a tough time on the road, but the place was worth it. Don’t miss the hike along the river, you won’t regret it.

Thanks for this wonderful place! The campsite is beautifully set in the valley, well maintained, and the service was perfect. The supermarket is basic, but it’s just right when you’re hiking the GR11.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is beautiful. I stayed in a tent at the far end of the site beside a small building with a machine that ran day and night. It was loud enough to drown out the river, and sounded like a generator. In such a peaceful place, having that noise all the time was disappointing. I left after just one night.
