The food really stood out, especially the generous breakfast with fresh fruit, cheese, ham, toast, and homemade sweets. Inma cooked dinner and Miguel served it with so much care. The rooms were cozy and thoughtfully decorated, and the bed was comfortable. We’re three months into traveling around Spain and seeing lots of hotels and casas rurales, and Antigua Posada is already in our top five, maybe even top three. We still have more of the trip ahead, though. Miguel and Inma were incredibly warm and welcoming. A place with real heart. Highly recommended!

Inma and Miguel know the Valle del Jerte inside out and were happy to point us toward viewpoints and longer hikes. We slept really well, with a great bed in a cozy, comfortable room. The food was fabulous too. Have dinner there, and ask Miguel about his homemade wine. A must-visit in the region, highly recommended.
