The room itself was acceptable, with cleanliness and upkeep about average, though the AC was quite noisy. The access setup is another matter. It’s easy to put your entry card into the slot at the main entrance by mistake. It won’t open the door, and the card gets stuck inside, leaving you unable to reach your room. We called the emergency access number and found it switched off or out of range. We were stranded on the stairs in the middle of the night, with our belongings locked away and nowhere else to go. The worst hotel experience of my life. This company doesn’t even have a name. Two nights before, I’d stayed at a similar place without an in-person receptionist, run by another chain, and it was a thousand times better. Their reception had a video call monitor, so a remote receptionist could help as if she were there. Here, you’re left to do the check-in yourself, which relies on having phone data and battery, both of which can run out while traveling. They call it a “modern” system, but it just doesn’t work. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. If you book, pray nothing goes wrong, or you’ll be left stranded like a cigarette butt. Disreputable.

There’s no welcome when you arrive, no help with collecting or storing luggage, and no alternatives or assistance when you need them. They’re completely inflexible with reservations. Courtesy and hospitality seem to be entirely absent here. I’d strongly suggest finding somewhere else.

The location is hard to beat, but the rest left a lot to be desired. Our room was very cold, and the heating was so noisy that it was hard to sleep. If you set it incorrectly, it wouldn’t work either. The mattress was awful and the pillows very thin. There were no real common areas, and the room felt superficial. I wouldn’t stay again, despite the excellent location.

There’s no staff at the hotel, and to reach the elevator you have to go up to the second floor first since there isn’t one on the first. The room was quite clean and cozy, and the cleaning lady was really friendly.
