We’re coming back in six weeks, and I can’t wait. We stayed here two years ago when my bride surprised me for my birthday, and we loved it. Our apartment was on the fifth floor, though the lift only goes up to the fourth. From that height above the pedestrian area, the city below is just a gentle buzz. You can watch people going about their day and see over the rooftops to the mountains inland, with the sea in view too, though staring at it for long might leave your neck stiff. The beach is only a short walk away. There are loads of coffee shops and places to eat, along with shops for all sorts of things, from supermarkets and pharmacies to jewellers, clothes, shoes, hardware, toys, souvenirs and ice cream. The choice of eateries is especially huge. I reckon you could eat somewhere different every meal for at least six months.
