Rincon 13 – Mares​​​​​​​

Great.

It might work for a single night, but I wouldn’t stay longer. The room smelled awful, like a sewer, as soon as we came in. There was dust all over the floor, furniture, TV, and air conditioning controls, so anyone going barefoot would need to clean up themselves. They only made the bed and didn’t replace the towels or sheets. The mirrors were dirty, there wasn’t a toilet brush, and the air conditioning was so noisy that we had to switch it off to sleep. It all felt terribly rushed.

The room was very clean, and there was a little area to make tea or coffee while waiting. Still, the bathroom is part of the room, with no door separating it from the bed. I had to wait in the “living room” while my companion used the bathroom. There wasn’t a toilet brush either.

The bed was large and comfortable, and the room looked modern and clean. But the ventilation was almost nonexistent, leaving a smell of tobacco mixed with damp. The shower tray was tiny, and the overhead showerhead had rust and a strange color, so we used the handheld one instead. We could hear the dog in the neighboring house barking as though it were in our room because the soundproofing was so poor. The location is right in the city center. For a short stay, it’s a decent low-cost option if nothing else is available, so I’ve rated it with that kind of place in mind.
