Camping Relax Sol

The staff are lovely, which helps make up for the tight space around the water and emptying points, which we always avoid. The location is ideal, near both the beach and shops. Showers are older but clean. The railway line runs right through the site and can be noisy, though you get used to it.

The pitches are very small for motorhomes, but fine for stopping overnight while heading north. The beach is a short walk away, and boardwalks cross the little wetland behind the dunes. In about ten minutes on foot you can reach plenty of local bars and restaurants. The French woman at reception was welcoming and helpful, and speaks English, Spanish and French. The washroom is older but clean, with lots of hot water.

The staff were very helpful, and even my late check-in went smoothly. I stayed in a clean, practical mobile home with a good-sized kitchen, shower, fridge and hot water. RelaxSol is conveniently right beside the beach, reached through a private gate, under a railway and then about 50 metres across protected natural dunes. There are large supermarkets nearby, and Torredembarra is around a 15-minute walk along the beach. A cycle path also goes in both directions to nearby towns. I love trains, so the busy line just behind the fence along the beach was a plus for me, though it might bother some people. I’ll definitely return with my whole family. Highly recommended.

We’ve stayed here for two weeks this year after visiting last year, and we came back again in May. We’ll return in September too. It’s still just as lovely, with a peaceful, friendly feel. The sandy beach is wonderful and very close. The site has a bar and restaurant, but they were closed by 5pm when we visited, which was a shame because we’d have liked to use them. There’s a small on-site shop for essentials, with larger supermarkets just a short walk away. WiFi is included and works well, and the price is especially reasonable with ACSI membership. Reception speaks English. Imma mentioned she studied in our home city of Exeter when she was younger, small world. The facilities are spotless and spacious, and there are washers and a dryer for laundry.
