Apartamentos Monfragüe

The quiet street and gated parking were a big plus, and the apartment felt like home. It's away from the town center, with no traffic or noise, and you can really hear the silence. Adán and Yolanda are efficient and help with whatever you need without making a fuss or keeping you in endless conversation. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a gas or ceramic hob, microwave, and excellent cookware and tableware. The apartment is clean, well furnished, and thoughtfully put together. I've stayed here several times and have always left more than satisfied. The quality for the price is unbeatable. If you're spending time in Monfragüe National Park, I highly recommend it. Yolanda and Adam were so kind and attentive to every detail. The location is spectacular, and for anyone who loves nature, it's incredible. A wonderful place for a lovely vacation. Thanks so much for everything.

The pet policy was disappointing. We brought our dogs because the place was supposed to be pet-friendly, but weren't told in advance about the nightly supplement per dog, which was based on weight. The dogs could move around freely only in the apartments, had to be on a leash in the parking lot, and couldn't go into the other facilities. We also got no compensation, just a bag of muffins left in the apartment. We booked a weekend last year during a heatwave specifically for the pool, but when we arrived to pay, they told us their son's christening was on that Saturday and the pool wouldn't be available. We had to make other plans to manage the heat, and the christening party went on until Saturday night. The pool's hours were 12 pm to 10 pm anyway, so we couldn't use it at all over the weekend. Since the name changed, my review has stopped showing up.

You can open the window in the morning and see sheep just outside. The apartments are lovely, clean, and quiet. I've stayed here often, and from the very first day Adán and Amparo treated us with exceptional kindness. We feel at home, or even better. Highly recommended in Torrejón el Rubio (Cáceres), right at the entrance to Monfragüe National Park.
