A bit of a mixed experience. The room itself was fine, with a comfy bed and a nice view, and we appreciated being able to keep our bikes in the garage around the corner. But the bathroom was very dark, we waited an hour for the room to be ready even though we arrived at 3pm, and there was no toilet paper until we asked that evening. The birdwatching also has to be booked in advance and takes place off site. The description made it sound like it was on the property, and it would have been easy to mention this when we called to book. At 45 euro, we didn't think it was really worth it.

A spacious room with lovely little details, and hosts who were very friendly, attentive and ready to help with anything. A great spot for birdwatchers and nature lovers.

Pilar was friendly, helpful and always available. The house was quiet, beautiful and super comfortable, with all the amenities needed for a stay of several days while visiting Monfragüe National Park. I also went birdwatching at the Monfragüe Astronomical Observatory, the Salto de Gitano viewpoint and the castle.

We were there at Christmas, and the entrance had lovely decorations. The house felt cozy and super comfortable, with beautiful details that showed how much care Pilar had put in. Our stay was perfect, and I'd definitely come back. Thanks for making it so enjoyable.

Pilar is a fantastic, friendly host who makes you feel at home. We even found a sweet welcome treat in the room, two slices of cake and two juices. The apartments are cozy and clean, well placed for visiting Monfragüe and the surrounding area. Our room was spacious, with an en-suite shower and a comfortable bed. There's also a shared living room and kitchen for breakfast or preparing whatever you need. Highly recommend!
