Apartamentos Capricho del Mar

The room itself was nice and clean, but we were very disappointed with the stay and won’t return. On the night before our very early airport start, two dogs barked for hours in the apartments above us. Nobody was inside to quiet them. I have video of the barking, but Google doesn’t let me upload it with the review. Communication from the owners was poor. We struggled to check in and got no reply about checkout. I understand the barking happened in the early hours and they may have been asleep, but there was no reception and we couldn’t reach anyone. My Spanish is good enough to discuss room bookings, so this wasn’t a language barrier. The owner hasn’t clearly said pets are welcome, or we’d have chosen somewhere else. It’s an extremely noisy building, and the service was very poor. The owner has CCTV on each floor and should be able to see me and nearby neighbours coming out to find out why the dogs were barking. EDIT: The dogs barked all night. A quick Google search said pets aren’t allowed in the building and quiet hours should be from 00:00 to 08:00. So either the dogs belong to the building owners, or the owners simply don’t care about the business they’re running. Unbelievable.
