The place could use some upgrading, but it’s very clean and has everything you need for a holiday. It’s close to everything, and the staff are very friendly. During our 10 days, they changed our towels and emptied the bins three times. The on site bar and restaurant was great, with fantastic food at good prices. I’d definitely stay again.

The apartment had everything we needed, and it’s beside the beach with great bars and entertainment nearby. Watermark and Plaza Mayor shopping centre/outlet were only a short taxi ride away. Shane's shack is great too, right on the hotel grounds.

We’ve been coming to the Buensol on and off about twice a year for over 20 years, usually booking self catering when we find one of the cheapest options around Torremolinos or Benalmadena. Ana the manageress never seems to recognize us, even though we smile when she asks if we’ve stayed before. We came less often after prices rose a lot during some refurbishment work, though we book again when they drop a bit. The indoor bar has been closed for several years, and we miss it. The bar by the pool does open in peak season and serves food. The location suits everything we like around Montemar and is very close to the Benalmadena border. The nearby promenade makes for a nice walk, left towards Carihuela and central Torremolinos, or right towards the Marina and Benalmadena.

We’ve been staying here for over 20 years. The apartments look basic, but they’re very comfortable to live in. Pool facing balconies get sun all day until sunset, while the other apartments face the sea and get sunshine until early afternoon. The kitchen is well equipped, with a gas stove, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, cutlery, dishes and different glasses and cups. There’s a TV too. The apartments are being upgraded, with new shower cubicles in the bathrooms and fresh paint in all the rooms. It’s wheelchair friendly and has two lifts.

We had a great, relaxing week and will be back. The rooms were spotless, the staff very friendly, and the location is perfect for shops and bars. The maids changed the sheets, emptied the bins and replaced the towels, which we really appreciated. It felt safe walking around, and the town had a lovely atmosphere. Every morning we woke to sunshine and a beautiful view from our apartment, and watching the sun set was priceless. A big thank you to everyone at Buenosol apartments.
