Camping Torremolinos

The pitches are small, but clean and really level, and the price seemed fair compared with other campsites in Spain: 31€ for a camper and electricity. The staff at reception were lovely, especially one very friendly guy. The toilets aren’t new and the shower cubicles are a bit small; the shower heads could use replacing, though everything was clean enough. I’m at pitch number 20 now, with planes heading out from Malaga airport overhead. You can hear the nearby road and the aircraft, but that’s part of being pretty much in the city. Even so, the place has a great vibe, it’s super quiet otherwise, and the location is excellent, near a shopping center, gokarts, the airport, and the beach. I don’t get all the negative comments. Their sticker is definitely going on my window :)

The staff really made this campsite special. Nacho, Rafa, Stephanie and the rest of the team were so welcoming and went out of their way to help guests. The site is under a kilometer from the beach, and it’s easy to get to La Carihuela or Málaga for a day out. Showers were reliably hot and clean too. A lovely place for a comfortable, relaxing stay.

The location is great, but the campsite itself feels tired. We were there over Christmas and New year 2025, and there wasn’t much of a camping community. The other campers weren’t very friendly. What sticks with you from a campsite is the people and the experiences, and I won’t remember Torremolenos Christmas 2025.

The entrance has my country's flag alongside others, but they were all tattered. I found it disgraceful. The campsite itself is expensive and poorly maintained, and it’s the only thing Torremoliños has. I don’t see the appeal of being packed together with no privacy or comfort, stuck without room to enjoy the fresh air on what should be pleasant days.
