It’s good value, cheap, and the pool was pretty much to yourself. The rooms are clean, there’s air con and a TV, and the bath-shower has a powerful flow, which is a must for me. The place has a lot of history and a certain charm, long story short.

A private parking lot came in very handy, and the host was happy to help us plan evening walks and places to eat. He had plenty of good suggestions. We were also close enough to walk to the oceanfront boardwalk. Hotel Residencia Miami is a smaller place with traditional decor that’s a bit tired but still cozy. Our room was clean and comfortable, with balcony doors looking onto a pleasant private courtyard and pool. Best hot shower we had on our whole Spain trip, too. I’d happily stay here again.

For €7, breakfast is decent value, though it wasn’t anything special. I’d probably eat breakfast out instead. The hotel itself is pleasant, well located in Tormillinos and good value.

My room was small, but perfectly adequate for one person. The hotel felt cozy and was about a two-minute walk from the beach. Restaurants and small grocery shops were all nearby on foot, and stayed open very late. Parking is quite tight, so a larger car could be difficult to fit.

We picked Hotel Residencia Miami for one night before our flight from Malaga Airport, and to get a feel for Torremolinos. It worked perfectly: the hotel is pretty, the beds were comfortable, and parking was available. Bars, restaurants and shops are within a minute, and the sea and lovely beach are about two minutes away. We had to leave at 7am, so didn’t get to try breakfast. We’ll be back, partly so I can see what it’s like! 👍
