We got a great deal, so the small bed and some nighttime traffic noise were manageable. Our room was on the left as you face the hotel, and we could hear the traffic all night. The room itself was very basic but really clean, and the bed felt smaller than a standard double. The hotel is spotless, and the staff were friendly. There’s a compact but lovely pool area with flowers and plants everywhere, and the water was a nice temperature. It’s also just a short walk from the seafront, shops, bars and restaurants.

We’ve stayed in Carihuela many times, and after a week here my husband and I would definitely come back. The gardens are beautiful, the staff are friendly, and everything was spotlessly clean. Our room suited us well, and the location was ideal. We couldn’t fault the place.

Such a relaxing, homely little hotel, with a lovely garden and pool area to unwind in. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It feels like a hidden gem 💎.

This was my third or fourth stay, and it keeps getting better. The garden is one of the reasons I return, the flowers are beautiful and a lady comes by each evening to water and care for them. The rooms are cleaned every day to a perfect standard, and all the staff are so friendly and helpful. You can pay for breakfast, and drinks are available from the bar all day. Someone also comes around the pool to see if you’d like a drink. I can’t thank the staff enough for everything they do.
