Sandos Griego Hotel

My room had recently been renovated, with a fabulous shower and a really comfortable bed. Breakfast was nice, and the staff were super efficient, but the dining room was packed and so noisy that everyone was shouting over each other. It's a bit of a walk to the beach. Still, if you're after a cheap all-inclusive holiday out of season, this is the place.

I've been seeing this specialist for a long time, even before she opened her own studio, and I was so glad to follow her there. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my skin. She's kind, professional and attentive, and you can tell she really cares about her clients and the results. Each visit feels calm and personal. I'm always thrilled with the results, and her new studio is beautiful, cozy and welcoming. Highly recommend! ✨

The location is a serious problem for anyone with mobility issues. It's at the top of a steep slope, in an area full of steep paths and stairs. It's not accessible for disabled people, and even mobility scooters struggle. The hotel itself has lots of stairs and only two lifts on each wing, which isn't enough for the number of guests they take in. Rooms are small and cleaned regularly, but whatever agents they use for cleaning cause reactions in people. Service is rubbish too. Staff are rude to non-Spanish people and seem to care very little about others.

The location worked well, close to the high street, within a reasonable walk of the beach, and near the lift if you need it. The buffet was okay, with something to eat each time, and the snack bar was decent. We booked the hotel restaurant for one evening and were happy with the service. We stayed seven days from last Friday. The hotel was good, but could be much better. It looked tired when we arrived, and seemed like two hotels joined together, so the layout was odd. Our room was cleaned daily, though as far as I could tell they made the beds and mopped rather than changing the sheets. The cleaner kept leaving just two towels for three people, and there was no bath plug. Reception gave us a clean towel when we went down, but refused to provide a plug, saying it was a “flood risk”. Our friends travelling with us had three plugs in their room, though. The balcony door wouldn't lock, which is a big concern with kids on the 10th floor, and the sockets were loose and coming away from the walls. There wasn't much daytime entertainment, and the two pool tables were locked away in the entertainment room during the day. Not much for children. I'd stay again only if the price was right. The hotel really needs improvements, especially in the rooms.
