tent Torremolinos

I booked Tent Torremolinos through Expedia on February 25, 2026, for March 6-8. On Wednesday, March 4, I got a call about a medical appointment for my 4-year-old son on the morning of March 7, so travelling that weekend was no longer possible. Expedia's site said I had to deal with the hotel about changes or refunds. I spoke with Rosa, who said they couldn't do anything. The manager was in a meeting, so she gave me his email. I sent a polite, detailed explanation and got no response. I called the next day and reached Miguel, the manager. He said changing the dates was fine, but Expedia would need to email the hotel to confirm the request. I contacted Expedia straight away. Their agent tried calling several times and emailed too, then asked me to wait for the hotel's reply the following day. Nothing came. When I called back, Miguel was in another meeting; they took my number and said he'd call me, but he never did. Expedia eventually said the hotel's commercial department had refused the change. I don't blame the front desk staff. I think they tried to help and did their jobs. My issue is with the commercial decision by the group that owns the hotel. If they'd followed their own manager's view and allowed a basic date change, I would have stayed, spent money there, and probably booked again, since I'm often in the Málaga area. Instead, they turned away someone who could have returned. Expedia described the booking as “non-refundable,” not “non-modifiable.” Thanks, Tent Hotel, for the memorable experience.

The hotel is right in the city center, and getting there by train from the airport is easy. It's also simple to take the bus from Istrumulinosa to Malaga and back. Everything was commendable, and I'll be back in September 2026.🇭🇷🇪🇸 Breakfast was wonderful and went on for a long time.

The rooms are a good size and the hotel is quiet, though some things are a bit quirky. I do wish there were a kettle, tea and coffee, and a fridge in the rooms, like other hotels offer. The breakfast is good and included, so I can forgive that 🤣. It's clean, and the staff are great.

The buffet breakfast is superb and runs until 13.30. Rooms are spacious, spotless, have sea views and balconies, and come with free air conditioning. It's very central too, just a few minutes on foot from the bus and train stations.
