The setting was so quiet and beautiful, with lovely views all around. We stayed in the smaller cottage, which had what we needed, though the kitchen could've been cleaner. It didn't spoil the stay. The owner was very kind and spoke excellent English, which helped a lot since our Spanish isn't great. A great spot for yoga, hikes, and switching off.

The location is the one thing that worked well for us. Otherwise, the cleanliness and general condition were really disappointing. The fridge and microwave were dirty, the towels smelled of smoke, the sheets didn't look clean, and there was mold in the bathroom. The pillows were paper-thin, and some even had ants. We also had to buy glasses because there weren't enough for 19 people, and the kitchenware in general didn't meet our needs. I understand this is a rural place, where you might come across a bug or cobweb, but the state of things here went well beyond that. The place needs better cleaning and overall service.

Jorge was so warm and thoughtful, always checking that we had what we needed and making us feel at home. The cabin was clean and cozy, with comfortable mattresses, heating, a fireplace, and everything we needed. We spent New Year's Eve there and had a wonderful time. The location is ideal for getting away from stress, and the views at sunset are breathtaking. It was a dream New Year's Eve, and we'd definitely come back.
