Head to the northern end if you want to steer clear of rocks. There are lots of fish, though the sea is rocky and has patches of seaweed. The sand is fairly coarse, so it doesn’t cling much or get into your things. It’s a nice beach that doesn’t get too crowded.

Los Locos is a little beach area in Torrevieja, and the swimming is excellent. The sand is white, and the restaurants there are very good.

A charming, quiet beach with clean sand, though look out for the rocky seabed. There are sandy patches in some areas. One end has a beach bar, and the other has hammocks and umbrellas. Several restaurants and an Irish football pub sit right behind the beach.
