Hotel Cano

The location was nearly perfect: the beach is at the end of the hotel road, the bus station is around the corner, and there’s a supermarket across the street. We had a lovely little balcony, and the room had what we needed. The hotel itself is beautiful, and we were greeted warmly by friendly, accommodating staff. Reception service was great, though on our second day the breakfast staff made us feel as if we were intruding. Breakfast was faultless for the price. WiFi wasn’t great, but they had said so. I’d give it 8/10 and would definitely return and recommend it.

The breakfast is a small serving: a bun, cheese and ham, juice, coffee, a little butter and jam, and a few sweet pastries. Whether that’s enough is up to you. We stayed for a week, and the spacious room was cleaned every day. It’s a very clean hotel, right in the center of Torrevieja. The bus station and beach are both about a five-minute walk, and the supermarket is only two minutes away. The walls are thin, so bring earplugs if hallway conversations and banging doors might bother you. We were happy with our stay and I’d book again.

For the price, we weren’t expecting much, so we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The place was nice and clean as soon as you walked in. We had two rooms for our family of five for one night. They were basic, but had everything we needed and were really clean, including the beds and bathrooms. Towels, shampoo, shower gel, and soap were provided. The beds were comfortable, we weren’t kept awake by traffic or other outside noise, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Great value for money.

I came back in April 2023 and it was just as good as before. Everything was so clean and all the staff were very nice. It’s ideal for getting around on foot, by bus, or by taxi, with boutiques, hairdressers, and manicurists nearby, all at reasonable prices. On my first visit, I found the smallish room clean and comfortable, with a TV, AC, WiFi, and a nice balcony. The bus station is less than five minutes away, the main seafront is an easy walk of under 15 minutes, and there’s a large Mercadona supermarket nearby. Lots of bars and little shops are close too. Breakfast is served until 10:30. Great value, and I’d definitely recommend it to family or friends.
