Last night we needed two rooms for four people, but they wouldn’t let us stay. Two of us had residence cards, and our two friends had passports. The hotel said our friends couldn’t stay because they didn’t have Spanish IDs. We were visiting the city and couldn’t drive home, so we wanted a place to sleep. We don’t understand why they refused us. Why open a hotel? This is the worst hotel I’ve ever been to.

I ended up staying three extra nights, and would definitely recommend this lovely hotel. It’s central, about a 10-minute walk from the beaches, with a supermarket around the corner. Very clean, with a massive room and friendly staff. There’s secure underground parking for motorbikes, an extra 15 euros per night, but worth it for peace of mind. Prices are reasonable if you book ahead. The pool wasn’t open until June, but that wasn’t a problem. There’s a gym too, which I haven’t tried yet, hahaha. It was my first stay.

Everything was good: nice and clean, with spot-on service, plus a nice pool and bar. The beach, shops, and restaurants are all in a perfect spot, less than a five-minute walk away.

The room was spacious, bright, and had an air conditioner that worked well. The bed was very large and comfortable, while the pillows were unusually long, about a metre, and quite narrow. Parking is available, and although we didn’t use the other facilities, cleanliness was acceptable. Still, it’s clear the hotel’s best years are behind it and renovation is badly needed. Don’t believe the photos! I hadn’t noticed when booking that the bathroom was open-plan. The toilet has a glass door, and the shower has only a short screen, so water spills outside. The flexible plastic shower tray moves when you step on it, and there’s mold in the corners. The biggest surprise was about a square metre of wall plaster that had crumbled and fallen off. Not what you’d expect from a three-star hotel. Breakfast was disappointing compared with other three-star hotels.
