It’s an eyesore right on the sea. I won’t comment on the architect, who seems to have a thing for Soviet-style blocks, but the public body that approved it ought to be investigated.

We booked through Booking.com, only for them to cancel on the very same day, saying they couldn't provide us with accommodation. Everything was already arranged, and they gave us no warning, no explanation, and not even an apology. Leaving us without anywhere to stay like that was outrageous. Their service was a terrible experience, and we absolutely can't recommend them.

I've stayed here 20 times and still enjoy coming back. It's a modern, pleasant residential complex right by the sea, with sea views, three pools, one heated, plus a children's playground. The pool water is 26°C, which still isn't warm enough for me, though it's fine. The city beach is around 300 metres away, and there are lots of good restaurants nearby, including plenty of Asian places. Torevieja's centre is about 6 km away, with a lovely promenade and attractions for children, including a large amusement park that's open in season. By the marina, adult discos have great music and a typically Spanish feel; one even has a pool. I recommend the place.
