We had two rooms. The toilet in one wouldn’t flush, and the lights in the other didn’t work. It took three days to get the toilet fixed, and the lights were never repaired.

Pretty average. It’s old-fashioned, there were no towels, and it’s a bit far from the beach. Not especially cheap, either.

The location is perfect, but the apartment was disgusting. The smell was awful, everything was filthy, the shower had mold, and the mattresses were the worst. There was blood on the walls from mosquitoes they’d killed and never cleaned up. I had to buy cleaning supplies and do the cleaning myself before we could feel even a little comfortable. We nearly left. We came with two children and a baby. We asked to get in at 1 p.m. and were turned down, then asked again for 3 p.m. and were refused again. These were the worst apartments I’ve ever stayed in. I’d never come back.

The location is fine and parking is easy, but the place is as basic as it gets. The walls and sheets were dirty, the decor and furniture were dated, and the beds were extremely uncomfortable. There were no towels or other extras, and the bathroom had only one toilet paper roll per day. You’re expected to take out the rubbish and make the beds yourself. Before checkout time, they were already ringing the bell to tell us to leave.
