Apartamento Roma Atic

I gave it five stars for the clean, well-equipped rooms and good location, even though it's rated as a two-star apartment. It's a basic place, but a clean base for exploring the village or enjoying the pools, and we had an amazing time. You have to make your own bed when you arrive, which was new to me, but it only takes a few minutes and involves just a couple of sheets. Montsi, who runs the bar downstairs, is lovely, and the drinks and snacks are great. The pool area and sunbeds were clean, with plenty to go around. The little pool was just right for my four-year-old, and the big one was perfect for everyone. There's no proper kettle, but there's a small pot for boiling water on the hob, which worked fine when we used it. Some days we went downstairs for coffee. The washing machine worked well, and we used it a couple of times during the week. The balconies get good sunshine and are nice places to relax.

We went in low season, so the value was excellent. The apartment was spacious and perfectly located.

We just returned from ten nights at the Roma apartments, and much of this will sound familiar to people who've read the other reviews. Monsi and her team work tirelessly to help with whatever you need. Our one-bedroom apartment was a bit dated, but it had a kettle, toaster, iron and board, microwave, TV, and other basics. We didn't hire the A/C because nights weren't very hot. There was also washing-up liquid, a sponge, a tea towel, and a washing machine tablet. They only leave one toilet roll, but a pack of four costs 1.45 euros at the supermarket. Rooms aren't serviced, so towels aren't replaced during your stay; we used the washing machine halfway through and it wasn't a problem. Jet2's description doesn't make this clear, but every room has a small front balcony looking over the hills with a glimpse of the sea, plus a larger south-facing balcony over the pool. The pool was great, seemed clean, and had plenty of sunbeds. The bar serves breakfast, snacks, main meals, and a wide range of drinks. Finding the key was confusing because Jet2 gives no collection details and the reception sign isn't clear. Just go into the bar below, where Monsi will give you the keys and explain registration. We loved the resort. It was quiet out of season but still had plenty of places to eat and drink, a fantastic beach stretching for miles, and a beautiful harbour. The town's main shopping area is about a 10-15 minute walk away. We'd happily recommend the apartments and resort.

The location is amazing, the food was good, and the pool is a nice size. Montsy and the rest of the team were exceptional, always working hard and trying to meet requests. The apartments, though, are quite dated and missing some basic things, like a kettle. The beds weren't very comfortable, and the whole place could use a refurbishment.
