The apartment we rented through an agency was on the 1st floor and wasn't very clean when we arrived. The kitchen counter had tea, coffee, sugar, oils, and sauces left out, and the floor was filthy. We swept and washed it before unpacking. There was a large patio facing north, so it only got sun for a few hours in the morning. Other buildings blocked the light afterward, leaving the apartment dark most of the time. We complained to the agency, but they said no other apartments were available. They offered to come clean, but I told them not to bother since we'd already done it. We'll never go back there.
