Estartit Costa

We came for a couple of days of diving, and the location made everything easy. Oceansub was only a few minutes away on foot, so we could make an early dive and come straight back to shower, change, and rinse our gear. The beach, groceries, ATMs, and other conveniences were also close by. The place was clean and simple, with a sunny balcony and a kitchenette that would be useful for a longer stay. It was just right for what we needed.

The reception staff were very nice, and check-in was quick and easy. We had a pleasant stay in a green, quiet area, with the beach nearby, a supermarket with a bakery across the street, and restaurants close by. July nights were cooler than we expected. The renovated two-bedroom apartment had enough plates and cutlery, though the old bathroom door still needs attention. The walls are thin, so we could hear the neighbours talking. Air conditioning was only in the living room, which wasn't mentioned in the description, and in hot weather you'd need to sleep with the doors open. The apartment also felt smaller than expected because the stated floor area includes the balcony. There are plenty of free street parking spaces, as well as covered parking for a fee. L’Estartit is a beautiful, relaxing resort, and we had a good experience.

We'd definitely return. The staff were professional and friendly, and everything was close by: the beach, the town centre a short stroll away, and a large supermarket across the road with pretty much everything, even Heinz baked beans. The area around the apartments was generally quiet, with a few bars, cafes, and restaurants nearby. Our 10-day break was lovely, and the rooms were modern and clean. Everything was near perfect.

This was our third stay, and it's been good to excellent each time, with this year the best yet. Even though it was a busy period, the welcome was warm and the staff took their time with us. They're friendly and empathetic, and help whenever they can.
