Being right by the beach, close to the port, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and things to do nearby made this a great spot. There's a rooftop pool too. We rented the apartment for seven people and had a lovely stay, though the kitchen was a bit small. There are coves within walking distance; the nearest is about 20 minutes away. The route has a steep hill and a somewhat rocky path, so keep that in mind if you're not used to walking. At night I could hear motorcycles, the bar downstairs closing, and noise from other apartments. I don't know if it was just my room, which opened onto the balcony/terrace, but it didn't keep me awake and I slept fine.

The main hassle was the stairs. There are about 30 steps from the street to the apartment entrance, which made coming and going with a stroller awkward. The apartments aren't accessible for people with reduced mobility. Getting from the third floor up to the rooftop pool means another 25 steps, though there is an elevator inside the complex. Otherwise, the location is lovely, right on the seafront, facing the port and five minutes on foot from the main shopping street. There's also a little beach just across the way, separate from the main one. The apartment worked well for four of us, including two babies and a dog. Pets are welcome, and there was still a sofa for a fifth person. The kitchen had the basics; the fridge was small but cooled well. There's a full bathroom with a tub and washing machine, plus children's and adult pools on the third floor with set opening hours.

The apartment building is really noisy, and the furniture is very basic. Our sofa was so worn out we couldn't use it. A lot of French guests rent here, and they were unbearably loud and inconsiderate. The landlords should keep a closer eye on the house rules. The location itself is very nice.

Big terrace with sweeping views, and the location on the port is ideal. Restaurants, bars, and the main shopping street are all close by.
