Really spacious apartments and great value. I'd recommend it.

We'd stayed here with friends the year before and found it good value, so I came back with my partner this time. The visit was going well until, after two days, I noticed quite a few bites on my back and arms. We first thought it was mosquitoes because there were a lot of them, but when we checked, it seemed to point to bed bugs. That was unpleasant. We told the accommodation and they moved us quickly to a better category apartment, which we appreciated. Still, the incident had a real effect on our stay, and I think people should know about it.

Communication with the people in charge was completely lacking. The patio door was chipped and hard to open, and water leaked from the shower. Eventually, small worms came out with the water. The trundle bed broke, and maintenance said it had broken before. The sheets, mattress covers, and mattresses were dirty, and there were crushed insects on the walls and ceilings. Unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend this experience to anyone.

The apartment has what you need to cook, and for the price it wasn't bad, though some things need improvement. There's no air conditioning, so we kept the windows open, but they don't seal well and mosquitoes still got in. There are lots of mosquitoes, especially in the narrow inner courtyard outside the bathroom window, which is better left closed. Bring a mosquito repellent plug-in, coils, and repellent for young children. If you have a baby, I'd suggest a mosquito net. The pool works, but the sink that's meant to be there doesn't, so you have to go back upstairs to the apartment. The kitchen sink smells a little because there's no extractor fan, though a bit of bleach gets rid of it.
