URH - Hotel Moli del Mig

The building looks great, and the pool area has lots of loungers, a lawn, and lanterns. Our triple room, Room 1, was simple with light wood, but clean, quiet, and well insulated. We couldn't hear anything through the thick walls, not even the service area across the hall. The AC worked very well, the mattress was a little soft, and the bathroom had a window and ventilation. There were two power outlets at each bedside. The main problem was the WiFi. On one of our two days, it kept disconnecting every few seconds from 6 pm in our room. We had three smartphones and one TV connected. The second day it worked fine. Mobile data and roaming were also poor because of the thick walls. At reception, we were told it worked for them and that they couldn't help with Room 12, in a rather uncaring way. Breakfast wasn't worth the price. The bananas were unripe, the cucumber and tomato were dry, and there was only one employee each day. On the first day, Thursday into Friday, the rolls and croissants were nearly gone at 9:20 am and hadn't been replenished for at least 20 minutes. Many tables were dirty and uncleared. The next day, Friday into Saturday, the employee was competent. Staff and service were mixed overall. Check-in was available 24/7. There was plenty of free parking, but at €230 per night including breakfast, it felt too expensive. We also noticed a slight smell of cow shit outside from time to time.

A perfect spot for kids to run around and enjoy the pool. We'll definitely book another stay.

Set among fruit fields, this place has a distinctive, modern minimalist look, almost like an art gallery. It's 2 km from the nearest town. I can imagine it working well for weddings or other events.

We liked the location, our room, and the massage, but the spa is tiny, with just two jacuzzis and two saunas, and nowhere to lie down and relax. The reception was the worst part. The first response to almost every request was “no, that's not possible,” and we had to ask repeatedly before things were done, like dinner in the room, blankets, or taking away a tray of plates. Reception and the restaurant kept sending us back and forth to each other.
