Casa del Cielo

The views from Casa del Cielo stretch across the mountains, villages, and sea, and the gardens and pool are beautiful. We first came for a week in October 2024, loved it, then booked two weeks for July 2025. We got back to the UK today and have already rebooked for July 2026. It's tucked into the hills between Frigiliana and Torrox, but easy enough to reach by car. Our Fiat 500 had no trouble, and there's secure parking behind automatic gates. Wi-Fi works throughout, and the windows have mosquito nets so you can leave them open and enjoy the breeze. The outdoor space is huge, spread over two garden levels. Right outside the house there's a gas barbecue, sofas, a table, and a dining table with four chairs and a banana brolly. Down a few steps is the larger pool area, with valley views, sunbeds, another banana brolly, and a four-poster bed. The infinity pool is large and well kept, and pool towels are provided. We used the cool box and freezer blocks to keep drinks and snacks cold while we were down there. The four-poster was a lovely place to watch evening come in, and to catch the sunrise over the mountains. Inside, there was everything we needed. The bedroom is large, with fitted wardrobes, a safe, ceiling fan, very comfortable beds, and air conditioning. The kitchen has a table and chairs, a big fridge freezer, washing machine, hob, microwave, and all the glasses, crockery, and utensils you'd want. They also provide olive oil, spices, and coffee. There's a gas barbecue outside as well. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower, toilet, and sink, with towels, toilet paper, hand soap, and shower gel supplied. The living area has a comfortable sofa bed, an armchair, a wood burner, and a TV, though we never turned it on. Nick and Julia live on site, but give you space and are there whenever you need anything. We enjoyed chatting with them and hearing about new things. They take real care of the property, and you can see it in the decor, cleanliness, and little extras. django the dog and the two cats came to visit regularly and were all very friendly. Thanks to Nick and Julia for such a relaxing, beautiful holiday. We're looking forward to coming back.
