Villa Las Encinas COSTA DEL SOL

(February 2022) We came back to Villa Las Encinas and found it just as perfect as before. Salvador was still as welcoming and helpful as ever. We'd never stayed twice in the same place before, but we're already sure we'll return a third time. It's a must among all the places we've rented. (February 2020) The house was spacious, comfortable, and very well equipped, with two terraces. One gets sun until late afternoon, which was amazing even in winter. It's not far from the sea, yet the setting is quiet and beautiful, up in the mountains, with superb views and plenty of hiking nearby. And Salvador made the stay even better. We've rented dozens of houses, but never had such a warm welcome. He was always available and focused on making sure our stay went perfectly. Thank you, Salvador. See you soon!

We spent nearly a month here and found it wonderfully peaceful, without the noise that's common in the Andalusian countryside. Getting settled was easy, with plenty of closet space and a functional, very well-equipped kitchen. The internet was another surprise, reaching at least 60 Mbps. Getting to the cottage is straightforward from the Torrox/Competa road. It's just 2 kilometers, almost all paved. We like walking and don't want to drive every day, so we appreciated the many hikes that start at the property, including routes through uncultivated areas. Salvador was kind and helpful throughout. We'd readily recommend this cottage for enjoying the relaxed pace of this lovely region of Spain.

Salvador was a wonderfully attentive and kind host, and we had a great few days in the house. It was spotless, charming, and welcoming, with a peaceful location. Highly recommended.

Salvador is incredibly kind and attentive, and the house was clean, organized, and just right. We're coming back for 11 days this year.
