GHT Tossa Park Apart-hotel

The pool and surrounding area were great, and the staff were really friendly. We had an enjoyable stay. The rooms were good, though they could use a little updating. I’d recommend it.

The room was miserable compared with the photos we saw before booking. There weren’t any proper beds, just two seat-like sofas that had been DIY-converted into something to sleep on. It was ugly and noisy, and felt far below an acceptable standard. Then reception wanted a €50 deposit at check-in. For what? The balcony door couldn’t be opened from outside, so it seemed possible to get locked out by accident. Hot air from the air-con exhaust blew onto the balcony, and it dripped constantly onto the neighbor’s balcony. See poc. The toilet door didn’t lock, and the view from the toilet was of cleaning gear: brooms, mops, a bucket, and the rest. That was upsetting. There was nonstop noise from talking, sneezing, chairs and other things being moved, passing cars, and neighbors opening and closing doors. It felt like being in a squatter area.

The pool was a big hit with the children, and our balcony overlooking it was amazing and spacious. The room worked really well for me and my two kids, with air conditioning, a small fridge, a shower, and everything clean. Staff were very friendly and the service was nice. They changed the towels every three days. The location was handy too, just two minutes from a supermarket and ten from the beach.

Honestly, I’ve had such a good time, especially thanks to the genuinely lovely staff. Andrea from the outdoor bar is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. The pool is clean, and everyone staying here seems to be enjoying themselves.
