I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The rooms are tiny, the beds are very hard and the ventilation is poor. It’s so noisy that you can hear everything from other rooms and the hallway, making sleep impossible. The owner also has a dog living at the hotel in reception.

The rooftop jacuzzi, with its view of the nearby mountains, was a real highlight. The hotel is also very close to the main bus station, though it’s about a 10-minute walk to the beach. I didn’t try the indoor pool, but it looked nice in the pictures. For a little hotel, it has great amenities and service and feels underrated. Staff were friendly and helpful, even though some spoke only a little English. The bar and restaurant had a good range at good prices. My single room was spacious enough, clean and nicely done, with a modern bathroom, comfortable beds and air conditioning that worked perfectly.

For a reasonably priced one-star hotel, this would be hard to beat. It’s beside the bus station, the main supermarket and long-term parking, which costs €10 a day. There’s also a rooftop sun terrace and a small indoor pool.

The restaurant was lovely, and Paqui deserves a special mention. She was the most welcoming host I’ve had the pleasure of meeting in a long time. The owners and staff were also lovely, friendly and extremely helpful. My room was just right for a break, very clean and right in the middle of town. It had everything I needed for a vacation. I’ll be back.
