We were left feeling on our own, with nobody at reception. The online check-in wouldn’t work, and the bot was no help; our calls went unanswered. At 16:30, another guest helped us get into the hotel. We then tried the tablets there and called a mobile number. A kind man answered and walked us through it by phone. The room was old, but very clean, and that was the one good thing. This doesn’t feel like a 4-star hotel.

The rooms are decent, but getting help was a struggle. Everything is handled virtually, with no one at reception. I waited outside my room for over 40 minutes before I got the entry code, and WhatsApp was the only way to contact anyone. Replies sometimes took over an hour, even though I answered within seconds, and the person responding didn’t seem willing to help. The Wi-Fi in my room was also terrible, which made working there a pain. I wouldn’t recommend it.

We were stuck outside for 40 minutes waiting for the entry code, and the staff wouldn’t answer our questions. They also said they’d store our luggage, then didn’t. The rooms were dirty, smelled bad, and felt shabby. I can’t understand the good ratings. It was a horrible stay, and I wouldn’t book here.

The room was old but clean, though the jacuzzi didn’t work. Check-in was very difficult because we hadn’t been given the information beforehand.

10/10
Tossa is a wonderfully calm town, and the hotel is right in the center with fair prices. I enjoyed two nights there, especially the friendly staff, good dinner, and cozy room with a balcony. Noise did come through the poorly soundproofed walls from other rooms, even at night. Otherwise, I’d recommend it.
