The sea was about 200-300 meters away, and that was the one thing that partly saved our trip. A few staff members were polite and tried to help, especially one security worker who did his best. The restaurant food was acceptable, nothing special, but edible. Unfortunately, our stay in mid-July was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel for a proper holiday. We paid for the hotel shown in the photos, but were put in a separate, older building across the road. The main building looked like a solid 3+ or 4-star place and had the restaurant. The building we got had no restaurant and just two very small, dirty pools. The main building had more acceptable rooms and a small pool, though that one also looked unclean and smelled strongly of chemicals. Our room was tiny and worn out, with plaster falling from the ceiling onto the bed. During our 10-day stay, housekeeping never changed the bed linen. The bathroom was cramped and in very bad shape, with constant leaks, a leaking shower, a broken curtain, and a lock that didn’t work. The toiletries were tiny single-use soap packets and shower gel tubes, with cheap plastic toothbrush cups. Everything felt neglected and far below what we expected from the advertised rating. When we raised the room problem with reception, the receptionist handling our case was arrogant and unprofessional. We were offered another room, but it had no balcony and they wanted another 400 euros for 8 days, calling it an upgrade. It was also very small, had only two beds for the three of us, and sat right by reception, on the route to the restaurant. Guests passed constantly, and the elevator was right beside the door. That didn’t feel suitable either. Our German tour operator contacted the hotel to explain that the conditions weren’t acceptable, but no solution came of it. Eventually the hotel stopped replying to emails. Asking for an extra 400 euros, nearly the cost of the whole holiday package, just to get the standard we’d booked is unacceptable. The rooms in the main building, pictured in the advertisements, looked much better than the accommodation we actually received. In our experience, the setup was misleading and the overall situation unacceptable.

We had a really good stay, thanks to Joamr and the rest of the staff, who were friendly and helpful. We also made use of the pingpong table and both swimming pools. If we come back to Tossa, we’d definitely stay here again :)

We spent Easter here with the family and felt welcome right away. Everything was super clean, and all the staff were so friendly. Foysal at the bar was especially kind to my children, such a gentleman. I think the helpful person at reception was called vladimir. There was a great choice of food, and it tasted very good. Everyone working in catering was amazing. The hotel is perfectly placed, close to the beach. Highly recommended, and thanks for a great experience!

The food was really tasty, and the kitchen service was fantastic. Our room was clean, the hotel was tidy, and room service was perfect. When our little one had a fever, the British animation girl was exceptionally kind and helped us figure out where to find a pharmacy.
