The jacuzzi was the highlight for us. We got to use it during the day and again at night, and it was such a good experience. The house is set among nature, with beautiful views from the balcony, and the whole place felt peaceful. Jesús looked after us attentively the whole time, so we’d definitely return. We also enjoyed the village bar: everyone there was friendly, and from the farthest table you can see both the mountains and the sea. We had an incredible stay and would recommend it.

The host was attentive right from the beginning, though a few basic supplies were missing. It was clean and tidy, and quiet all day, which makes it a good rural apartment for a peaceful holiday. Good value for money, recommended.

We had two spa/jacuzzi sessions included during our Thursday-to-Sunday stay, and the apartments were clean and quiet. It’s a good spot for hiking, or for a couples’ break; the coast is about a 10-minute drive away. In this small mountain village in Málaga, we found two little grocery shops and a bar. The apartments have basic kitchen items like plates, glasses, cutlery and pans. There wasn’t a bottle opener, but we’d brought ours; I think Jesús could have provided one if needed, since he was attentive to what we needed.

We stayed three nights, and the owner came into the house while we were out on all three days. We told him we weren’t comfortable with that, but he said he comes in whenever he wants. There was no privacy. The first time, he caught us in the room because he’d left his phone inside and came in without ringing or contacting us on WhatsApp. On the second day he came in, there was no leftover food. There wasn’t an ant infestation either, just ants going to the trash. A young couple had seen us and apparently didn’t trust us not to do something wrong. They never knocked or messaged on WhatsApp, and after coming in, they didn’t tell us they’d been there. If you want privacy, don’t come here.
