The people were friendly and welcoming, but there was no air conditioning, and church bells rang through the night. That makes it hard to recommend.

The heating worked well, and the receptionist was very friendly, though he wasn't often at the desk. He may have had other duties, since we didn't see any other staff. Still, at €70 a night without breakfast, it felt like poor value for the quality. The entrance and windows looked dirty from the street, and the reception area was very dark. To get to the elevator, we had to go up or down stairs because it wasn't on the right floor. The room was very dated, with a shower curtain in the bathtub, and there was a cobweb on the bedside lamp. I might stay again because there aren't many other options in the area.

The staff were very attentive, and breakfast was decent and filling. The mountain location works well for hiking, and the rooms are adequate, though a few things could use an update. It's a shame there's no dinner service, even a simple one. Outside peak season, the restaurants are closed, so after a day hiking, being able to eat and rest at the hotel would be great.

The rooms are spacious, with comfortable beds, and the service is good. It's a large hotel in a great spot for relaxing and exploring. The rooms are fine if you aren't expecting luxury.
