The owners were so kind and helpful, always paying attention to what we needed and making sure we were comfortable. The house is rustic, with beautiful furnishings and lovely decor, and it sits in a spectacular, peaceful setting. Everything was spotless, inside and out. The flower-filled garden is clearly cared for every day, with a lot of time and effort.

The homemade breakfast was delicious, and the traditional Cantabrian cottage is beautiful and really comfortable. Everything was spotless and carefully looked after, with thoughtful details for guests’ comfort. Mari Paz and her family made us feel so welcome. They’re warm, friendly, helpful, just wonderful. It was such a treat to spend a few days in Trasvia at their guesthouse. That dreamlike week has me wanting to return every time I’m in Cantabria.

Mary Paz was attentive to anything we needed, and her husband’s Spanish omelet was delicious. Our room was comfortable, spacious, and very clean, and breakfast had lots of variety. We’ll come back.
