El Descanso de Sanabria

The people managing the house are 10 out of 10, and the place is really cozy and lovely. It’s in a great spot, just a five-minute drive from anywhere. I’ve rented it year after year for years, and I wouldn’t hesitate to choose it for exploring Sanabria. Unbeatable value for money.

It’s very peaceful on the slope, despite being beside a road, since hardly any traffic passes. There’s a medium-sized barbecue and a spot by the entrance for eating outside. The semi-detached house is close to the Sanabria Lakes and has everything needed for a comfortable weekend. Six people would fit well.

Trefacio is a welcoming, peaceful village, and the patio with tables and umbrellas was lovely for a barbecue. Alejandra was especially attentive, and they were fine with us checking out later than planned. The house had a well-equipped kitchen, a roomy living area, standard double bedrooms, and a fully equipped bathroom. There were more of us than the house was meant to hold, but it wasn’t a problem. They even brought extra sheets and towels in sealed dry-cleaning bags.

The town and its surroundings were spectacular, and my family and I were delighted with the stay. Casa El Descanso in Sanabria was cozy, clean, and very well equipped. Yolanda, Alejandra, and their family were fantastic hosts from the moment we arrived, always attentive and willing to help. We’ll definitely come back if we can.
